1987 – 1989 Certificate in Fine Arts 24 module Wanganui Community College – first experience of printmaking
1991 Study tour to UK and Europe
1991 – 1996 Attended Summer Schools and Workshops run by New Zealand Artists
1997 Qualified and accepted for Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree Course at Wanganui Quay School, New Zealand
1999 BFA (Hons) Fine Arts, Printmaking, specializing in mezzotint
2000 – 2001 Worked with Marty Vreede HOD Printmaking Quay School of Arts to establish Central Print Council of Aotearoa with support from many of New Zealand’s experienced printmakers
2001 – 2015 Served as Treasurer, Secretary and Liaison Office, now Life Member for the Print Council, New Zealand
2001 – 2015 Tutored Mezzotint BFA classes, Wanganui, Napier and Porirua Polytechnics; Tutored Mezzotint classes throughout New Zealand
2001 – 2015 Demonstrates and involves the public in drypoint printmaking; Tutors school classes in the above and other printmaking disciplines and with community groups
Since 2001 solo exhibitions at Auckland’s Lane Gallery, Grodentz Works on Paper & Rimu St Gallery, Eastbourne, Wellington, Athene and James Mack/Galvan Kepler’s Galleries in the Wairarapa, Morph Gallery Napier, Wine Country Gallery Havelock North, Salamander Gallery Christchurch & Artist’s Room Dunedin, Left Bank Gallery Greymouth and was guest artist at Hamilton’s Waikato Society of Arts Print Exhibition and also exhibited at Wanganui Community Arts Centre and more recently at DUB New York USA. Group exhibitions at Portland Oregon USA and in NZ Fine Arts Academy & Idiom Galleries, Wellington, Te Manuwa & Taylor-Jensen Palmerston North, Aratoi Museum, Masterton, Waikato Museum of Arts and History, Hamilton, Quay Gallery Napier, also in Târanaki at Percy Thompson Gallery Stratford, PTO Gallery Eltham & Lysarght Watt Gallery, Hawera, various venues in Wanganui including the Sarjeant Gallery and more recently at Gus Fisher University Gallery, Auckland.
